The  Shere -e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Science and Technology (SKUAST) in collaboration with Roll Ball Association of J&K(RBAJK) Kashmir wing is organising a 15 day Rollball, Roller Skating  coaching camp at Wadura campus Sopore.

A total of 30 students including  boys and girls  from the campus are taking part in the Coaching Camp and will be trained by giving all the facilities from the SKUAST for the  participation in forth Coming University Nationals.

The camp was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor SKUAST, Professor Nazir Ahamad Ganie.

The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Director P&M, Director Education and Professor Raihana Habeb Kant Dean faculty of Agriculture, and other Division Heads.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice chancellor SKUAST, applauded . M. Ashraf Dijoo , also Alumini of Agriculture College Wadura for involving SKUAST in the field of Roll Ball and Roller Skating Games.

Dijoo is the Pioneer of this game in Kashmir Province, and has represented India in the 3rd World Cup 2015 as Technical Official.

Speaking to Rising Kashmir Secretary Rollball Association J&K and Coach M. Ashraf Dijoo said the coaching camp which is being held in the varsity campus is a first ever Roll Ball and Roller Skating Coaching Camp,  Conducted by RBAJK in the campus.  

“The coaching camp started on  first week of August this year and is currently underway,” he informed.

Dijoo  said he requested  VC  SKUAST for providing  requisite facilities for the players and stressed for immediate repairing of the said Court with railing etc, for enabling the players for Showcasing there talent.

“VC SKUAST have ensured all possible support  for players,” he said.

Dijoo welcomed all the respective dignitaries and extended gratitude to professor  Raihana  for her extensive Support to make this event a Success. 

Pertinent to mention Dijoo is imparting Coaching at various Stadiums like Radpora Downtown, Gindun Sports Complex Rajbagh, Pulwama and Phalgam Skating Rinks, under the aegis of J&k Sports Council.

He has involved hundreds of youngsters and youths in the sport, and under his coaching number of players have excelled in Nationals and School National Games.
